Connector to Cable air-service round cable assemblies are fitted with a Delrin® subminiature-C female connector at one end, and nine wire, non-terminated PVC insulated wires on the other.  The female cable connectors mate directly onto the air side of subminiature-C feedthroughs.

 

  Air Service Connectors are made with a Delrin® material and use the contacts listed below.  Special Note:  Wires must be threaded through the connector back-piece before crimping contacts.

 

  Standard Contacts are made from a copper alloy and gold plated.  Recommended for use in our PEEK (polyetheretherketone) subminiature-D and subminiature-C connectors.

 

  Standard Sleeved Contacts are standard contacts with a stainless steel sleeve added and are used as equivalents to the standard contacts.  Recommended for use in our PEEK (polyetheretherketone) connectors where clients use excessive plug-in cycles (i.e. 3+ cycles per day).
