UHV Components
Components in this section are sold as the most basic components.
 
  UHV Connectors are made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) and do not include contacts.  Contacts must be purchased separately.  Special Note: Thermocouple wires must be threaded through the connector back-piece before crimping contacts.
 
  ChromelŪ and AlumelŪ Contacts are made of either ChromelŪ or AlumelŪ. The contacts listed below are intended for use with ultrahigh vacuum PEEK connectors listed on this page.
 
  Power Contacts are made of a copper alloy and gold plated. The contacts listed below are intended for use with ultrahigh vacuum PEEK connectors listed on this page.
