HV In-Vacuum Connectors in this section are sold as the most basic components. The female cable connectors mate directly onto the vacuum-side of subminiature-D UHV feedthroughs, HV feedthroughs, HV Bulkhead-D feedthroughs, or with subminiature-D FEP ribbon cables. Components in this section are sold as the most basic components.
HV Connectors are made of DAP (glass-filled Diallyl phthalate) and do not include contacts. Contacts must be purchased separately.
Sub-D DAP Connector Specifications
- Material: glass-filled Diallyl phthalate and stainless stell
- Sub-D 9, 15, 25, and 50-pin interface
- Temperature rated to 125°C
- Voltage rating: 500 VDC max.
- 5 AMPs per pin (20% of pins at any given time)
- HV rated 1x10-8 Torr
Gold Contacts are made of a copper alloy and gold plated. The contacts listed below are intended for use with high vacuum DAP connectors listed on this page.
