AGP offers Kapton brand (polyimide) film sheets in convenient 12x12 inch squares in .001, .002, and .005 inch thicknesses. Non-branded Polyimide tubing in sizes with .040, .051, .057, .072, .081, .088, .105, and .160 Inch bore diameters is also offered. Kapton polyimide is a high performance polymer with tough, wear, chemical, and oil resistance. It is temperature rated to between -269°C and 400°C (240°C maximum continuous use) and well suited for vacuum environments down to the 1x10-10 Torr range. The materials offered in this section have no adhesive coatings. However, AGP does offer adhesive-coated tape made of Kapton film, if required for your application. 

Kapton polyimide offers high performance, reliability and durability, with a unique combination of electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical properties that withstand extreme temperature, vibration and other demanding environments. Kapton and polyimide materials are used in demanding applications such as cable insulation. It is one of the few polymer materials suitable for ultra-high vacuum applications, with excellent performance in the UHV and XHV, aerospace, and chemical industries.
